The subject of this Annex is meeting of the BWC’s duty to provide information to the data subject – the Rider.
Personal data is obtained and processed by data controller: Bratislava Wake Club - BWC, with registered office at Šustekova 37, 851 04 Bratislava, Slovak Republic (hereinafter also as “BWC”).

Conditions of processing of your personal data differ depending on the purposes of processing to which your consent has been granted:

A. PURPOSE: PROCESSING OF CONTACT DETAILS AND SOCIAL MEDIA INFORMATION

CLOSER SPECIFICATION OF THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING: The purpose of processing of your additional information is for the mutual benefit of both you and BWC. Thanks to providing additional contact information, we will be able to make the most of your Golden Trophy Event experience and communicate with you in the quickest way possible if necessary. Thanks to providing your social media information, BWC will be able to use your experience at the Golden Trophy Event for marketing purposes and you will be able to share your Golden Trophy Event experience with your friends and followers at the social media you provided.

PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA: Based on your consent, standard personal data shall be processed for the specified purpose, in particular your telephone number and e-mail address and your social media information (Instagram, facebook, twitter).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The legal basis for processing of your personal data by BWC represents this written consent to processing of personal data. Should you decide not to grant this consent to processing of the required personal data, BWC will not be able to process your personal data for the purpose of communicating with you quicker during the Event. Your data will be processed for this purpose only for the time of duration of the Event and will be then deleted without any unreasonable delay as the purpose of its processing shall cease to exist unless you grant consent to long-term processing of your personal data in BWC’s database for the purpose of contacting you in the future with similar events you may like.

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER: Personal data – your contact details and social media information shall only be kept with BWC and will not be provided to any third parties. No cross-border transfer of said personal data will take place.

B. PURPOSE: LONG-TERM RECORD KEEPING

CLOSER SPECIFICATION OF THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING: The purpose of processing of personal data for the purposes of long-term record keeping in the database of Riders is to provide the Rider with information of similar events in the future.

PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA: Based on your consent, standard personal data shall be processed for the specified purpose, in particular your telephone number and e-mail address and your social media information (Instagram, facebook, twitter).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The legal basis for processing of your personal data by BWC represents this written consent to processing of personal data. Should you decide not to grant this consent to long-term processing of personal data, BWC will not be able to process your personal data for the purpose of contacting you in the future about similar events you might like. Should you choose not to grant consent to long-term record keeping, BWC will delete your personal data as soon as the Event ends. If you grant consent to long-term processing, BWC will delete your personal data 3 years after your consent is granted.

C. PURPOSE: PROCESSING OF PHOTOS / VIDEOS

CLOSER SPECIFICATION OF THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING: The purpose of processing of your photos and videos from the event is to use them for BWC’s marketing purposes. This may mean involving photos and videos of you in promotional videos for future events or for this event’s recap.

PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA: Based on your consent, standard personal data shall be processed for the specified purpose, in particular your physical appearance and your skills performed during the event.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The legal basis for processing of your personal data by BWC represents this written consent to processing of personal data. Should you decide not to grant this consent to processing of personal data in photos and videos from the event, BWC will not be able to take photos and videos of you, edit them professionally and use them for BWC’s marketing purposes, this also means that you will not have access to any cool pictures and videos from the event that would serve as a nice memory for you for the years to come. BWC will delete your photos and videos as soon as they are no longer needed, at the latest, 3 years after your consent is granted.

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER: Personal data – photos and videos of you shall only be kept with BWC and will not be provided to any third parties. No cross-border transfer of said personal data will take place.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (FOR ALL ABOVE PURPOSES OF PROCESSING – A, B, C)

OTHER ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Personal data is processed based on your consent. This consent may be withdrawn in an equally simple manner as it was granted – by contacting BWC by any possible means (e.g. e-mail or regular post) that you would like to revoke this consent. The right to withdraw the consent shall have no effect on legality of processing based on consent granted before the withdrawal. Personal data is provided voluntarily since granting of the consent may be rejected by the data subject. Provision of personal data to BWC is not compulsory, it does not constitute any legal or contractual requirement. Transparency of processed data and procedures: As a data subject, you are entitled, amongst others, to the right to require access from BWC to the personal data concerning yourself as a data subject, the right for rectification of incorrect or untrue personal data, the right to be forgotten, the right for restriction of processing of personal data (based on exercising this right BWC shall indicate the stored personal data with the objective of limiting their processing in the future), the right to object when processing personal data, the right for data portability, the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority with regard to processing of personal data (Office for Personal data Protection, https://dataprotection.gov.sk), or to file a proposal to initiate a proceedings with regards to protection of your personal data, e.g. in case of BWC breaching your rights as data subject. In processing of your personal data, no automated decision-making or profiling is taking place.


Apart from processing your personal data based on the Consent of data subject granted for purposes A., B. and C. above, BWC also processes your personal data you provided in your registration form / contract. The provision of this information is necessary, should you not provide it, you would not be able to attend the event.

D. PURPOSE: PROCESSING OF DATA NECESSARY FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF A CONTRACT

CLOSER SPECIFICATION OF THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING: The purpose of processing of your basic personal information is necessary to identify you as a rider that may take part in the event and to collect a waiver from you to be sure you are aware of all risks connected with participating in the event.

PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA: To conclude a basic contract with you for you to be able to take part in the event, it is necessary to process your name, surname, permanent residence and your date of birth.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The legal basis for processing of your personal data by BWC represents Article 6 section 1 letter b) of the European GDPR regulation, which is processing necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party. Should you not provide this data, you would not be able to participate in the event. BWC will store your basic personal data along with the contract for 10 years for archiving purposes and afterwards shall delete your data according to applicable law.

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER: Your basic personal data will be provided to the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation. No cross-border transfer of said personal data will take place.

OTHER ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Personal data is processed based on the legal right of BWC as the controller of personal data to process personal data of a data subject for the purpose of performance of a contract – in your case the event participation contract. The personal data is used to identify you as the attendee of the event and to make sure you are aware of the possible risks connected to taking part of the event. The provision of said data is a contractual requirement as well as a requirement necessary to enter into a contract. Transparency of processed data and procedures: As a data subject, you are entitled, amongst others, to the right to require access from BWC to the personal data concerning yourself as a data subject, the right for rectification of incorrect or untrue personal data, the right to be forgotten, the right for restriction of processing of personal data (based on exercising this right BWC shall indicate the stored personal data with the objective of limiting their processing in the future), the right to object when processing personal data, the right for data portability, the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority with regard to processing of personal data (Office for Personal data Protection, https://dataprotection.gov.sk), or to file a proposal to initiate a proceedings with regards to protection of your personal data, e.g. in case of BWC breaching your rights as data subject.
